Position Brief

We commence by meeting with you to gain a thorough understanding of your needs and your organization’s culture. A position brief including information about your organization, the job description and person specification is developed.

Talent Attraction

Our consultants are experienced in the planning, drafting and management of advertising strategies to attract the best candidates. Following the assignment brief we embark on an initial database search.  Complete Personnel Recruitment offer complimentary on-line advertising with Seek and our website.  Any other advertising costs will be agreed with you prior to committing and charged to you at cost.

Initial Screening

An initial telephone pre-screening is conducted with candidates prior to a personal interview to determine the skills and experience of candidates.

Identification Verification

We undertake a check to confirm the identity of all short-listed candidates to ensure that all candidates are who they say they are.


If required, candidates undertake rigorous skills evaluations. We utilize an extensive online assessment system to assess candidate skills.  We also have access to a wide range of psychometric assessments to reduce the risk of an unsuitable hire. Assessments available include cognitive ability, work preferences, values, behavioral profiles, safety, integrity and emotional intelligence.

Behavioral Interview

Comprehensive and documented interviews are conducted using Behavioral Interview Techniques. A series of questions is developed for each position based on the competencies required.

Reference checking

Before referring any candidates to a client we undertake a minimum of two reference checks with previous employers to validate the candidate’s skills, knowledge and personal attributes.

Candidate Report

Suitably qualified candidates who form the shortlist are forwarded to the client for consideration. Your consultant will prepare a confidential Candidate Report which provides the candidate’s personal details, education and employment summary, availability, testing results, remuneration expectations, detailed resume, profiling the candidate against the brief.

Client Interviews

We make arrangements for the client to interview short listed candidates either at their worksite or at Complete Personnel Recruitment’s premises. We are also available to assist throughout the interview process if necessary.
